Rest in peace, my sweet Sky

So I told you earlier today that I had to submit a bit of a vent/sad thing. Well, this is it.

Last month, my youngest cat (barely a year old) Sky went missing. He went outside and he didn't show up for like a whole weekend. We put up missing posters and such. A few days later we got news that he was sighted at one of our neighbours and my mom and brother went to get him but he didn't want to come to them. I feel like if I had went with them, Sky would've come to me and this wouldn't have happened...
After that we didn't see him again for weeks until this morning...
On my way to work I saw something laying beside the road in the grass and when I got closer I recognized his fur and tail... It just had to be me that discovered him. *sigh*

When I looked closer I saw that the fur of his tail, belly and legs were all gone and my mind went to the most horrible places. I was thinking that some sicko skinned my baby and I was so full of anger. Later on as I calmed down my mom did mention that there were people around here that had troubles with rats and that he could've eaten it... Probably the case.
He was laid there on the grass by someone, that I'm sure of because he doesn't seem to have been hit by anything.

*Sigh* Poor thing really... barely a year old and my mom got him last year because he was abandoned on the highway and my grandfather just passed away...

Atleast we know in the end what happened to him and we aren't in the dark anymore about it. May he rest in peace and in kitty heaven <3 I'll miss you, ya scamp. I'll hug your step-brother and step-sister for you.
